About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Project Manager to join our Shared Services Division on a six-month max term contract with the possibility of an extension.

The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing a diverse range of projects, to enable the organisation to achieve its overall strategic objectives and deliver its growth agenda through the execution of well-managed and governed projects. With experience working across a broad range of projects and strategic change initiatives, this role will work across new software implementation, new program implementation, culture and transformation programs, divisional growth initiatives and start-up ventures. Scope of projects will encompass some or all of, facilities, finance, IT, business intelligence, people, marketing, customer experience and service delivery.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the Project Manager will be responsible for duties, such as:
• Introduce formalised project management methodology across the organisation and develop project scopes and objectives, establishing project plans and protocol for managing projects.
• Work effectively with the Executive Leadership Team to provide organisational support, maintain communication and update on project progress.
• Establish, monitor and update project risk registers.
• Maintain project management tracking tools.
• Designate (working with Project Sponsor) and manage project resources.
• Work with finance to prepare and manage project budgets.
• Work with the marketing team to develop and distribute organisational change/project communications.

About You:

The ideal applicant we are seeking will have:
• At least five years’ demonstrated experience managing a diverse range of projects, with a track record delivering on time, in budget and within scope.
• Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships.
• Project management certification desirable but not essential
• Commercial and business awareness
• Ability to stick to time constraints.
• Change management experience
