For our client we are currently looking for a freelance UX/UI Designer with Figma (m/f/d) (Ref 101895) for a project with focus on UX.

Duration: 01.01.2024 - 31.12.2024
Location: 40% Berlin, 60% remote. Willingness to travel to Brussels (approx. 5%) is a plus.
Languages: German (B2-C2) and English (B2-C2)
Contract type: contracting / freelance

#Tasks/Activity
• Lead UX research activities and document it in the Elia Group Research repository
• Prepare and animate workshops on functional framing, ideation and co-design with business and users, or even on an ad hoc basis for user tests and focus groups
• Collect user needs and feedback throughout the project by implementing appropriate research methods (on-site observations, interviews, user tests, surveys, literature, etc.)
• Create personas through user research and data ? Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success via measurable criteria
• Identify business processes and use cases, define and formalize user journeys or make recommendations for improvement to existing journeys
• Create storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
• Using our Figma design system, realize wireframes and produce clickable functional prototypes with mock data
• Present ideas, concepts and design solutions to various stakeholders
• Communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers
• Actively participate in broader UX Chapter and Product Team activities such as feedback and knowledge sharing sessions to ensure common UX standards

#Must-haves:
• Languages: German mandatory (native of fluent), as well as professional efficiency in English. French or Dutch is a plus
• Proven experiences in design thinking in context of agile projects
• Strong practices of qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Experiences in UI designs (Figma) for multiple thin or thick clients (responsive Web, mobile, desktop)

#Skills:
• Excellent with UX design for complex workflows
• Good portfolio of design projects
• Familiarity with interaction design and information architecture
• Experience creating wireframes and user flows
• Attention to details and works delivered in high standard
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; JavaScript
• Analytical and synthesis skills promoting simple solutions
• Able to write processes, documentation and presentations
