Victaulic performs continuous metallurgical, dimensional and structural quality checks during the manufacturing process. The company also conducts both static and dynamic post-manufacturing tests to assure adherence to quality standards.
The company’s flow test system provides precise data on the performance of valves, couplings and fittings under various flow rates, pressures and other conditions. We are seeking a full-time Marketing Specialist. This position is responsible for managing the market analysis, marketing communication plans, and business development for Australia (with focus on mining, power and industries sectors).
Specific Responsibilities
• Plan, develop and manage the marketing activities under the leadership of the National Mining Manager.
• Responsible for the research and analysis of market trends, developments and promotion of the full range of Victaulic Products. Must stay abreast of market trends, local industry influences and strategic opportunities.
• Interface with sales force, customers, contractors and distributors to identify and develop market opportunities.
• Develop and maintain favorable specification of the Victaulic range and services within the assigned territory.
• Support sales force in advising or assisting target customers in areas such as selection, value to customers, profit opportunity and profit, etc.
• Assist in training specifier, distributor and contractor staff through promotional campaigns.
• Update internal Victaulic CRM software.
Education And Qualifiation
The incumbent will be either a university graduate, preferably in engineering, or a qualified professional with related industry background. Computer literacy skills are necessary (Microsoft Office suite). A current driver’s licence is mandatory.
The position requires a self-motivated individual with the ability to react to market trends and conditions through a sales oriented hands-on approach.
