We are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to join the team.

You will be responsible for the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and improvement of our web services.

You will be working closely with different parts of our team including software development, product design, support and product management, to ensure our products and services are developed to the highest quality.

You will join a fast paced team of passionate individuals and take ownership of web development across our ecosystem.

We’ve created an artificial intelligence (AI) Audio Engine that makes it easy for anyone to create, control and manipulate music using their voice. Imagine beatboxing triggering drum samples, humming a guitar part or controlling effects by the timbre of your voice - all absolutely live!

Our technology has been recognised internationally for a range of design and innovation awards, including winning the SXSW 2018 pitch competition. In March 2019 we launched our first product, vocal recognition MIDI controller, Dubler Studio Kit. We released our second product, Dubler 2 in September 2021, with numerous updates throughout 2022 and 2023.

About the Role

What you’ll do:
• Maintain, improve and develop new features on our website and admin platform.
• You will be working closely with different parts of our team including software development, product design, support and product management, to ensure our products and services are developed to the highest quality.
• You will join a fast paced team of passionate individuals and take ownership of managing web services across our ecosystem.

Your skills

Essential
• Solid understanding of NextJS framework and its core features.
• Advanced experience with Typescript.
• Proficiency in integrating a design (UX/UI) using Figma and ability to transform it into pixel-perfect, responsive UI using HTML/CSS/JS.
• Proficiency in working with forms and data manipulation using JavaScript.
• Solid knowledge of CSS pre-processors like SCSS, SASS, or LESS.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaboration tools like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Ability to write maintainable, scalable, and reusable code using best practices.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for frontend applications.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools like Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.
• Experience with server-side rendering and building dynamic web applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• A passion for learning new technologies and frameworks to improve skills and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in frontend development.

Nice to have:
• Good understanding of Restful APIs and experience consuming them from a frontend perspective.

The details:

Contract basis: Full time

Location: UK. Flexible working from our office in Kings Cross, London.

Holidays: 25 days holiday + bank holidays + 1 extra day of holiday per year of service (up to 28 days total)

Social events : regular social events with the team

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
