Position Overview:

The purpose of this role is to work in a business agnostic approach with the aim to streamline, harmonize and optimise HR Service Delivery among all legal entities in France as well as on site business partner support. This role has overall responsibilities for ensuring the effective delivery of HR services to all employees in their scountry, including labour relations, and in identifying opportunities to enhance efficiencies in the delivery of a world-class employee experience, for all employees. To achieve that, this role provides resources, capability, knowledge and coordination to the Regional HR organisation as well as to local and global management team(s).

Key responsibilities include:

• Serves as a go – to person and source of expertise for HR teams and managers within the country

• Drives harmonisation and consistency aligned to global policies

• Drives harmonisation among plants and business lines to assure legal compliance and consistency within France

• Lead the development of the HR function, ensuring the skills and capabilities are developed or acquired in advance of need

• Create a “Business Partner” relationship within management teams in the plants

• Provide coaching for managers

• Acts as expert on legal aspects and takes the lead on legal and regulatory framework queries

• Liaises with peers in each site/factory location for cascading management information and company HR policy changes

• Look ahead and challenge the local leaders to ensure that the right organisation and capability is in place to deliver the results in the immediate and longer term

• Project manage delivery of national initiatives

• Continuously improve efficiencies, costs and service standards

• Supports plants in TU negotiations strategy and relationship

• Manages harassment/discrimination/retaliation and other EEO-related complaint investigations

Experience and skills required:

• Bachelor or Master level qualification in a relevant (businesss) discipline

• 5+ years broad experience in a HR Manager role

• Sufficient knowledge in all aspects of the employee life cycle

• Good knowledge about local labour law, social security and tax law in the country

• Professionally qualified and certified by the country HR Professional body

• Fluent in written and verbal English and French language
