Description

Responsibilities
• Provide legal support in identifying, assessing, managing, and responding to IP infringement and counterfeit matter, IP enforcement and litigation request.
• Provide legal advice and service to internal clients for daily business activities, including purchasing, product supply, sales activities, marketing activities, labor, foreign investment etc.
• Provide legal training to educate employees about legal knowledge, contract knowledge, legal risks, and legal issues.
• Handle legal challenges in front of government agencies.
• Handle litigations independently or together with external lawyers.
• Manage to retain quality external legal service.

Qualifications:
• Law degree, qualified to practice law in China or obtain certificate of China National Judicial Test.
• Minimum 5 years’ of general commercial experience with a company, or law firm. Has experience in IP enforcement or in fast-consuming goods industry would be preferred.
• The candidate must have knowledge, skills, and experience in general corporate/commercial laws.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight timelines, result oriented. Ability to anticipate legal issues and risk, develop legal strategy and set objectives.
• Strong communication skills in (oral and written) Chinese and English.
• Be able to effectively work with team members and with multifunction partners.
• Do the right thing principle is a must, while good business sense is a plus.
