ROLE: Child Lawyer

LOCATION: Nottingham

SALARY: competitive, based on experience

HOURS: 09:00-17:15 Monday- Friday

ROLE:

Sills & Betteridge Solicitors is known for its dedication to excellence in legal services. You will play a crucial role in representing our clients in a wide range of family issues, including children and domestic abuse cases. This position is suited to a confident professional with first class interpersonal and motivational skills and the passion to help drive the Firm forwards. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload with supervision and support when required.

Your typical day-to-day duties may include:
• managing and progressing own caseload in an efficient and effective manner
• assisting with the development of the department in the designated area
• achieving both individual and team financial targets, as agreed with the Department Head
• ensuring that all business opportunities are dealt with professionally and promptly

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate will:
• be a qualified Lawyer (NQ - 5 years’ PQE)
• be able to undertake own Advocacy (as far as possible)
• have knowledge and experience of Legal Aid
• have a positive and proactive approach to both, clients, and staff
• be confident, passionate and possess first class communication skills
