We at Matco Tools, an industry leading manufacturer and distributor of quality professional automotive repair tools, diagnostic equipment, and toolboxes are looking for a Mobile Applications Developer to build the future of automotive repair tools and diagnostic technology experience served via our Matco Tools Mobile apps.

As an integral team member of our mobile applications team, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing new capabilities and customer experience enhancements facilitating an increase in franchisee and technician/customer satisfaction while removing operational in-efficiencies.
The role is remote eligible with an option to be based out of Raleigh, NC or Stow, OH.

WHAT YOU WILL DO + Architect, design and implement new features and capabilities for a suite of Matco Tools Mobile Apps leveraging React Native while serving as a member of the agile team + Collaborate with Digital Product Owner and UX designers to bring wireframe & UX design concepts into production ready state and help assist with feature iterations based on customer feedback and A/B testing + Help design a technical roadmap that can facilitate adoption of all common React Native based mobile app platforms for all our mobile apps + Build & maintain unit testing standards along with CI/CD pipelines via Visual Studio App Center + Research, estimate and develop prioritized backlog for the Mobile Apps agile team enhancing our existing Mobile apps + Integrate with A/B testing tools enabling marketing team to conduct multivariate and A/B testing campaigns WHO YOU ARE + 4+ years of Mobile App development experience building hybrid and native iOS & Android mobile apps leveraging React Native, SWIFT, Objective C, Kotlin, Java.

+ 2+ years of experience building Mobile Apps using React Native + 3+ years of hands-on experience using HTML4, CSS3 and Node JS + Extensive experience developing software solutions using agile software development methodology + Experience in API development and Micro services architecture using technologies like Java, .NET Core, C#, Restful API or GraphQL along with knowledge of relational DBs such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server + No-SQL databases + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience building mobile and e-commerce applications + A collaborative team player, who is not afraid to challenge the status quo + Extensive knowledge of Native as well as Hybrid Mobile App platforms with expertise in React Native, Flutter and/or Phone Gap + Hands on knowledge and experience managing mobile application lifecycle through Apple App Store & Google Play Store + Extensive experience leveraging Firebase to enable marketing team for running campaigns through push notifications, loyalty and promotions management capabilities + Hands on experience with JIRA or Azure Devops + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent training & experience.
