Description

Joining the International BTS Winning With Data team as a Data Product Manager opens doors to collaborate with cross-functional teams in developing solutions. You will own data products, educate stakeholders on leveraging data, and foster a culture of engagement with data consumers and producers. By understanding upstream/downstream systems and partnering with other teams, you'll implement data governance initiatives and streamline data access and analysis. Together, we'll harness the power of data to make informed decisions and drive success.

In this role you’ll be responsible for:
• Providing vital opinion-leading clients with comprehensive strategic analyses and insights to help them discover strategic uses of technology products and services.
• Developing the vision, strategy, and roadmap to help build data solutions with cross-functional teams such as data science, engineering, product owners, and other stakeholders.
• Driving the execution of data projects spanning data engineering, platform engineering, and analytics.
• Championing adoption and education of stakeholders on leveraging the data products.
• Educating stakeholders on leveraging the data you make available.
• You will build a deep understanding of upstream/downstream systems and processes and how they should shape data model design and impact adjacent systems.
• Driving ongoing interaction across various business units to engage analysts on respective functional teams and streamline data access, analysis, and analytics designs.
• Partnering with the Winning With Data Teams to implement data governance and data quality initiatives.
• Championing a culture of partnerships and engagement with data consumers and producers.

Tools and skills you will use in this role:
• Comfortable using SQL to perform data analysis and drive insights from data.
• Data Modelling experience and robust data analysis expertise.
• Comfortable understanding of the big data tech stack, data pipelines, and ETL.

Experiences that make you a strong candidate for this role:

Required:
• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years’ experience; Master's Degree with 7+ years’ experience; PhD with 3+ years’ experience.
• Understand the modern commercial technology ecosystem, including tracking, measurement, formats, and presentation.
• Experience in implementing analytics solutions - multi-users/multi geographies/very large databases.
• Evidence of strong investigative, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to be onsite in the Lake County, IL office 3 days/week.

Beneficial:
• Must have a good understanding of dimensional modeling and be strong in the fundamentals of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in defining integration strategy with multiple systems.
