Job Description

We are looking for a ‘Technical Sales Specialist’ with excellent experience in selling and supporting capital equipment and consumables sales in the immunohistochemistry, tissue analytics or spatial biology research market. The role will involve supporting our customers in sales, pre-sales and post-sales activities in pharma, biotech, and academia across the UK and North Atlantic region. You will have strong technical skills, knowledge of IHC, IF and tissue biomarker analysis applications, and solid account management experience. You need to be a hard-working determined individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, and passionate about taking Lunaphore to the next level.

Key responsibilities
• Achieve assigned territory sales goals
• Develop and execute regional, territory and account-specific sales strategies
• Drive capital equipment sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closing
• Build long-term relationships with new accounts and customers to drive sales objectives and exceed targets
• Generate and qualify new leads to create new sales opportunities
• Attend conferences and present products and applications
• Organize local events and seminars for lead generation
• Develop a strong working knowledge of the product portfolio, range of applications, and target markets
• Present the full portfolio solution, including instrument, reagents, software, services
• Work closely with the sales, support and marketing, as well as other stakeholder functional departments to provide a high-quality customer experience
• Identify and share relevant market feedback from the field
• Accurately forecast the sales pipeline, track and report sales activities within CRM
• This position includes frequent traveling to customer sites (50-80%)
• Remote employees are required to travel to the Swiss site on request, to support customer application activities

Qualifications
• You have a biology background: Master's or PhD degree in Biology, Lifesciences, Bio-engineering, Medicine, or other similar background, allowing you to understand the product’s applications
• 2+ years experience in technical sales roles in the life sciences research market
• Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, long-term vision
• Experience dealing with academia/bio pharma players in immune-oncology / neurosciences segments
• Understand the spatial biology market
• Experience in assisting / managing distributors (nice to have)
• Knowledge of In-situ techniques including immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, in-situ hybridization, and similar techniques and technologies is a strong plus.
• You are hands-on and feel confident testing assays in a laboratory environment.
• You are skilled in managing technical work in the field even with little supervision.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record in Life Science/Diagnostics sales and account management
• Proactive and results-driven
• Clean Full Driving License
