Position Description:

CGI Federal has a need for a Senior Web Developer to support a large data modernization project for a federal agency. The Web Developer will work in an agile environment in concert with the Scrum Master. This role will be responsible for the full scope creation of websites while employing best practices in design and performance. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting the US Federal government.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Future Duties:
Analyzing and evaluating client needs to create website content and graphics
Ensuring that websites maintain performance and capacity standards
Designing, developing, and maintaining websites and web-based user screens
Applying User Interface principles to create web pages
Applying security policies and best practices to web applications
Maintaining excellent communication with the Product Manager, Scrum Master, and client stakeholders

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

At least 3 years of experience developing and maintaining websites
Possess extensive experience meeting with system owners to determine requirements for development.
Possess demonstrable knowledge generating code while minimizing the number of software defects, reviewing complex code to identify and fix any bugs, and continuing to build technical skillset.
Ability to work well with a team.
Experience in the practice of Agile methodology
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with team members, customers and support personnel
U.S. Citizenship is required.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience with system modernization management
Experience supporting a Department of Defense (DOD) client

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $75,000 - $90,000.
