PolicyBazaar.com is India's largest insurance marketplace and a leading fintech player globally. It has backing from a host of investors including the likes of Soft Bank, InfoEdge (Naukri.com), Temasek, Tiger Global Management, True North, and Premji Invest. The portal started in 2008 with the purpose of educating people on insurance products and has had a significant influence on how insurance is bought in India. It has helped in driving penetration of pure life insurance, health insurance, and such products that were barely bought earlier.

From receiving traffic of 180,000 visitors in 2008, PolicyBazaar.com has come a long way and today hosts over 100 million visitors yearly and records 10 transactions on its platform every minute. The company collected Rs 3,500 cr of insurance premiums in FY19 and is on track to double this figure in FY20. PolicyBazaar.com accounts for nearly 25% of India’s life cover and over 7% of India’s retail health business. It accounts for roughly half of all internet-based insurance purchases in the country.

The role:
• Our Product Managers are analytical and data-driven individuals, who’re responsible for building products end-to-end focusing on analyzing and experimenting until our solutions are perfectly tailored to our Customers.
• As our next Senior Product Manager, you will drive product strategy and partner closely with senior leadership cross-functionally to define, build, and deliver the best travel & SME solutions.
• You will also be leading product for Abu Dhabi based technology office and will be required to work along with Marketing / BD teams on building solutions & responding to RFPs that come our way
• You will get dedicated engineering resources that you, and only you define and allocate. We expect you to have a hands-on mentality and spend considerable time with your SCRUM teams, have enthusiasm to develop engineered processes and technologies and apply innovative solutions to make organizational improvements.
• You will be directly responsible for Product Innovations and Product Ideations in their respective Domain.
• You would be expected to build & define Product Lifecycle from Concept to Deployment including flow charts, features, scripting, etc.
• Improve Customer perception and product-wise market share, good understanding of technical and market feasibility of the product.

Product Managers can modify *every* system we have in our company to suit their needs. By applying to this role, you’ll be considered for an Individual Contributor role.

In this role, you’ll get to:
• Analyze the online insurance & BFSI ecosystem, markets, competitive landscape and user requirements
• Conceptualize, launch and optimize products and features, experiment, test their performance and iterate quickly
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Marketing, Legal and UX teams on cutting-edge technologies
• Develop innovative solutions to some of the world’s difficult problems by collaborating as needed across regions, product areas, and functions

We are looking for:
• B.E/ B.Tech/MBA with 7+ years of overall experience and 4+ years of Product Management experience in B2C Consumer Internet/Tech/e-Commerce space
• Ability to understand different technology platforms, their features and be able to work with solution architects/engineering leads and write detailed product requirement documents manage future roadmaps and deliverables
• Ability to lead product team processes (agile/scrum) and manage expectations and track roadmap regularly
• Product leader with a data-driven approach with the ability to leverage data to make decisions, user-centric development approach and deep empathy for your users
• Data tools – SQL, Python, R, or equivalent
