Responsibilities
• Administering databases and middleware components
• Operating, monitoring, updating, documenting and configuring databases
• Installing and configuring databases
• Troubleshooting and analyzing databases
• Developing solutions for IT requirements in software and hardware
• Working collaboratively in a team
• Independently finding solutions for any kind of IT requirements
• Good knowledge in the administration of Linux/Unix systems
• Strong English language skills
• Responsible and analytical, with a high level of motivation, team spirit, and engagement

Requirements
• Technical-oriented degree or comparable IT education
• Experience as a system administrator in the database environment
• Knowledge in Oracle databases, PostgreSQL, MySQL, IBM DB2
• Certifications in relevant areas are preferred
• Good knowledge of database administration, Real Application Cluster, Data Guard, Cloud Control, and Weblogic Servers
