PURPOSE :

This position is responsible for the preparation of various cybersecurity assessments and verifications, as well as the organization of documentation surrounding assessments such as Cyber Security Architecture reviews. The incumbent is a part of the Cybersecurity Architecture team and reports to the Manager, Cybersecurity Architecture.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepares Cybersecurity assessment templates and reports.
• Maintains security architecture artifacts (e.g., models, templates, standards, and procedures) that can be used to leverage security capabilities in projects and operations.
• Drafts security procedures and standards to be reviewed and approved by management.
• Ensures appropriate documents have been obtained to fulfill assessments.
• Monitors queues daily to ensure prompt attention is given to assigned assessments.
• Acts as support staff and a resource for the Cybersecurity department.
• Escalates relationship concerns to management in a timely fashion.
• Performs duties as needed supporting departmental growth.
• Provides support and guidance to the business.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/ Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)

Experience:
• 0-2 years relevant work experience
• Internship or other entry level work in security or related field of work
• Working knowledge of common operating systems, software applications, including Microsoft O365 Suite and business intelligence reporting tools

• Flexible and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work extremely well under pressure while maintaining a professional image and approach
• Team player with proven ability to work effectively with other business units, IT management and staff, vendors, and consultants
• Exceptional information analysis abilities, ability to perform independent analysis and distill relevant findings and root cause
• Self-driven and able to reach deadlines on-time
• Ability to effectively take notes and capture requirements
