As a General Accountant at Alfa Laval, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial decision-making processes. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments to analyse financial information, prepare reports, and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Job Description
• Data entry, verification, allocation, posting the accounts within areas of responsibility (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc, and General Ledger)
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and data quality.
• Monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
• Producing accounting reports and present results.
• Reconciling customs vs company records
• Responsible for Annual Physical Inventory / Administration of Cycle Counts
• Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports.
• Closing of local books.
• Reconcile accounts, book-keeping and maintaining an accurate general ledger and to be in line with accounting principles and reporting schedules, so that the organization's statements are complete and correct.
• Filing of VAT returns. RCM.
• Preparation of CIT and other taxes
• Supporting Finance manager for Transfer Pricing documentation

Qualification & experiences
• Bachelor’s in accounting minimum,
• Qualified Accountant (ACCA or CMA) is a plus.
• 5 - 8 years' work experience. Manufacturing industry is a plus.
