MercyAscot is New Zealand's largest private surgical facility with 22 theatres across 3 Auckland sites and growing. As a first class health care provider we are continuously investing in leading edge technology such as robotic surgery and digital operating theatres.

We're looking for aSystems Administrator to join our Information& Communication Services (ICS) Team based at Mercy in Epsom. Reporting to our IT Service Delivery Manager, your primary role will be to provide intermediate level technical support for applications, systems and platforms across the MercyAscot Hospital group.

This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday with occasional on-call after hours, and will suit someone bringing their IT systems experience from a large enterprise environment along with a pro-active customer service approach to providing excellence in ICS.

Key Accountabilities Will Include
• Workstation and mobile device security, deployment, updates& patching
• Installation and management of desktops, scanners and printers etc.
• Management of mobile devices and IP system troubleshooting
• Anti-virus management solutions
• Active Directory Domain Services
• Server management using Citrix and VMWare
• Network support using Cisco hardware

To Succeed In This Role You'll Need
• Relevant tertiary qualification plus industry vendor certifications
• ITIL Foundation qualification and experience
• Experience working in a large (500+ users) enterprise environment
• A background in health care with Trakcare experience would be ideal
• Sound knowledge of cloud, virtualisation& security technologies e.g. Azure, VMWare& Fortinet
• Proficiency with all Microsoft products: Exchange, O365, Active Directory, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly
