Job Details
As Project Manager, you will provide leadership and direction for transportation engineering projects. Managing a team of engineers, you will serve as project lead charged with overseeing all aspects of design and construction initiatives. These transportation, civil, and municipal engineering undertakings will include projects for government clients such as the Colorado Department of Transportation, Denver DPW, and multiple city and county jurisdictions.
Oversee all aspects of project management from budgeting and scoping through execution and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
• Develop and monitor detailed project plans and schedules while managing resources and budgets
• Lead project teams through technical design, planning, quality control, and delivery phases
• Supervise, coach, and develop junior engineering staff on technical and project management best practices
• Produce or oversee design work, research, reports, specifications, and other discipline-specific deliverables efficiently and cost effectively
• Serve as primary client contact to align expectations, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction
• Apply technical expertise to highway, civil, and other infrastructure design projects including new/expanded roads, intersections, drainage, ADA improvements, etc.
• Perform and guide CAD and modeling processes
• Support senior management on project administration duties as needed
• Track progress; invoice; and report status to clients and management
• Contribute to business development efforts including proposals, presentations, and RFQ/RFP responses
