We’re one of the fastest growing early-stage start-ups in NZ and scaling rapidly. In just 9 months, we’ve built a base of over 70 clients in NZ and launched and seen growth in Australia. With this much momentum, we’re building out our product team and looking for a successful Product Manager to lead the team.

The role

As a key member of the founding Tracksuit team, the Product Manager is the guardian and owner of the Tracksuit product. Taking a user-centric approach, this exciting new role will drive the future vision and direction of the Tracksuit product and features.

Working collaboratively with our Customer Success Lead, dive into the overall user experience to understand pain points, and explore new features and improvements. Set the future vision for the Tracksuit product, develop the product roadmap, and lead the process from planning through to implementation and beyond, ensuring the product is scalable and makes use of the best technology available.

As a conduit between the product and other teams, you are responsible for aligning and motivating teams on the vision and priorities, ensuring teams are kept informed and can communicate product changes, and articulate their value to users and prospects. As the product team leader, build-out and lead the product team, manage their workflow and resourcing, and contribute to the overall culture of Tracksuit.

About You

Ideally within an early stage start-up, you have proven experience in bringing to life a product from vision to implementation.

With a core understanding of technology and user experience, you are able to balance these together to enhance product and fulfil business objectives.

You understand key design principles and can leverage this into thoughtful UI in collaboration with UI Designers.

You are the epitome of user centric, you are adept at gathering and leveraging user feedback to build product for a better user experience.

Comfortable working in a fast paced environment, you are an expert in the balance between the urgent and longer term vision, and able to fulfil immediate requirements at speed whilst maintaining the future vision and roadmap.

You have a high level of professionalism, curate a kind and empathetic approach to business, are a creative problem solver, and an organised self-starter who is able to independently to manage multiple workstreams at once.
