Title:
LCV EUCOM OEW Germany: IT Systems Administrator
Responsible for the administration of one or more of the following data systems: Computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices.
• Maintains, installs, upgrades and configures data systems, administers operating systems, and maintains basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups.
• Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, performs assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.
• Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.
• At times will also be called upon to perform tasks outside of IT to ensure the mission is successful.
• Should have knowledge of TCP/IP networking principals in a Microsoft Environment to include network topologies and transmission media, i.e. fiber, copper, satellite and Wi-Fi.
• Responsible for managing multiple IT vendors to ensure completion of IT projects in a timely manner.

Must be willing and physically able to deploy to project locations at short notice Previous LOGCAP experience preferred but not necessary
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
