Our Highways & Bridges team in Qatar is experiencing exciting growth and we have a need for a strong Highways Design Manager to support one of our major clients in Qatar. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing the client highways design projects, ensuring exceptional quality, technical excellence, and adherence to project timelines. You will be working closely with the client where you will be working on the following:

• Provide technical leadership in highways design, leveraging your experience to guide and mentor a team of engineers and designers.
• Manage all aspects of highways design projects, from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and collaborating to deliver innovative solutions that exceed expectations.
• Implement and enforce robust quality control processes to maintain high standards of design accuracy, compliance, and safety.
• Foster a culture of learning and growth within your team, promoting professional development opportunities and knowledge sharing.
• Identify potential project risks and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including environmental, geotechnical, and structural professionals, to deliver integrated solutions.
Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Must hold a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Must demonstrate experience or specialization in Highway Design.
• At least 15 years experience in Highway Design & Project Management.
• Strong knowledge of relevant design codes, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in design software and tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
