The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate lawyer to join our award-winning Corporate team to be in our Hong Kong office. The team is busy, successful and growing and there are excellent career progression opportunities for the successful candidate. You will be working with the fun, dynamic and collaborative team led by Corporate partner, Stanley Xie, as well as other corporate lawyers across the Greater China and the wider Herbert Smith Freehills network.

Skills, experience and qualifications

To be successful in this role you will:
Have at least 5 years' experience post qualification experience within Corporate practice, preferably with equity capital market and M&A transactional experience, gained within a reputable international law firm; Be able to demonstrate excellent drafting, analytical and deal project management skills; Be a confident, driven and collaborative individual; Be enthusiastic, adaptable and industrious, with excellent interpersonal skills; Work well with people, including more junior team members who will depend on you for guidance; Have fluent written and spoken English and Mandarin skills.
