Customer Details
• Our customer is one of France's Luxury Fashion Houses, they have a global presence with their teams being split across EMEA, APAC and the US. They have many famous fashion labels within their group and are one of the most well known in the world!
• Due to a lack of internal capacity, the customer has reached out to the Sub-Contractor/Freelance market to source the best personnel for their project.
• You have the chance to be a leading figure in their Infrastructure Transformation, the customer is looking to make their Infrastructure one of the best on the market and have put this project as their main focus for 2024.
• Glocomms has been working with this customer for the last 4 years and has over 30 sub-contractors working within their business at the moment.

Infrastructure Project Manager

Primary responsibilities include :
• Overseeing a team of Technical Project Managers, in charge of managing and controlling the deployment of their Systems, Network and Infrastructure.
• You will be working closely with their Global Project Manager to align and manage any problem or escalation and produce follow up documentation.
• You will participate and/or lead many meetings such as with the Local Telecom provider, the operational meeting with regional manager and the Steering Committee for their management.
• Create/Integrate the project management documentation for the project (planning, slides, risk book, etc…)
• Organize the operational governance meeting with the regions to collect their data, drive the change and ensure the deployment pace is as expected.
• Participate and represent the customer in the provider's governance meeting.
• Generate regular reporting, at destination to regional and Central management, giving the view on the project, its risks, problems and required decision.
• Participate in the project Steering Committee with the top management and the business IT representatives.

Other requirements :
• No technical skills are required but an understanding of Systems (Microsoft, VMware, Linux) and Networking (SD-WAN, WAN, Telecomms) would massively support your application.
• Experience in managing an international deployment are key (Over 5 years ideally)
• You will be reporting directly into the Global Head of Infrastructure and the Program Manager and managing a team of Regional Project Managers (split across the world)
• Given the International context of the business, a fluent level of both English and French are required for the position.
• No qualifications are required for the position, but any relevant Project Management or Infrastructure certificates would massively support your application.
