Kogan People Solutions are working with an Engineering and procurement consultant, operating a rapidly growing mining industry business providing a range of services to mining companies all over Australia and further afield as they work to secure a full time Mechanical Engineer for their busy base in Kambalda West WA

Kambalda West, WA work base but travel can be expected regionally and further afield

About The Full-time, Ongoing Role

With a large cohort of well resourced clients endlessly updating and enlarging their mechanical plant and equipment, our client requires a qualified Mechanical Engineer to work with their clients as they execute their plans. Along with other members of the team, you will be responsible for applying your expertise to solving complex mechanical engineering issues. You will work closely with the internal and external stakeholders allocating resources and ensuring successful delivery of projects.

About You

You should be able to demonstrate the following attributes and strengths to be considered:
• Demonstrated and verifiable mechanical engineering experience in one or more industry settings highly relevant to the mining industry.
• Careful review of engineering design drawings and/or specifications developed by clients
• Developed skills in engineering design drawings & simulations
• Good experience performing structural and finite element analysis
• Well-developed coordinating experience of client as well as internal resources
• Highly focused on the measurement, management, and reporting of projects costs
• Recommending design and implement modifications
• Strong IT skills (ideally including products such as AutoCAD)
• University degree or higher in a highly relevant discipline with at least 2 to 3 years post training professional experience
• Solid references
• Excellent communication skills, patience and empathy
• Physically fit with demonstrated good levels of personal resilience
• You have the right to work full time in Australia without restriction
