Joining our centrally-located Wellington team, we are looking for an Environmental Engineer to deliver pragmatic, sustainable solutions that shape and co-create a more sustainable future. You may be an intermediate Engineer looking for that next stepping stone into a senior position, or an intermediate professional wanting to independently take on any challenge you are faced with. You will be surrounded by an inspiring, close knit team comprised of engineering, science, sustainability and water sensitive urban design knowledge.

Are you passionate about freshwater outcomes and motivated to make. You will have the opportunity to add value on a range of interesting and multidisciplinary projects. You will be involved in helping us solve the problems we are tasked with on a daily basis. We are looking for like-minded people, looking to grow their career and profile in environmental and civil engineering, and join us to make real and valued change.

About you

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in environmental, civil engineering or water resources, with a strong emphasis on embodying the change to a more sustainable future. You will have at least a minimum of 4 years’ experience. You will have a passion for problem solving, thrive on a challenge and have a commitment to sustainable and environmental outcomes.

We are especially interested in candidates with experience and interest in any of the following areas:
• Site investigations and optioneering
• Site supervision
• engineering investigation, scoping and design
• design of three waters infrastructure
• Onsite water and waste water

You will be an excellent communicator who can confidently manage site operations, customer queries and contractor engagement with sound report writing skills. . You will have a real passion for sustainability and the environment, and a high level of interest in three waters engineering. New Zealand experience is a definite advantage including Local Government, familiarity of stormwater assets ie ponds, wetlands and GPT’s.
