Essential CompetenciesProvide onsite technical support at the Osborne Park site, and remote support across sites within the Group.Work closely with remote infrastructure team members in scoping and supporting infrastructure projects.Be passionate about technology and have a strong ability to communicate clearly and build a positive rapport at all levels within the organisation.Support and maintain infrastructure and associated platforms including servers, desktops, backups, cloud environments and domains.Provide support for escalated incidents, mentoring technical support team members and ensuring incidents are accurately recorded, and resolved.Perform daily checks to pro-actively identify & resolve internal system problems, implementing solutions to detect issues prior to business operations being impacted.Pro-actively instigate initiatives that mitigate security risks and protect systems.Monitor network assets, operational health, status reporting and tracking of threat activity, recommending & implementing continuous system improvements.Proactively identify, diagnose, document, and eliminate infrastructure risks that cause or may cause system incidents or unplanned downtime.Contribute to ongoing development and documentation of standards, procedures and guidelines relating to the technical infrastructure environment.Maintain hardware inventory to ensure assets are recorded, tracked and refreshed in line with agreed lifecycles.Identify, assess, and recommend innovative technical solutions where the IT infrastructure can be enhanced to benefit the group.Contribute and participate in projects to improve and optimise server and network infrastructure performance.Be able to work on-call as rostered or after hours if required.Behavioural and Communication Skills * Strong ability to work autonomously in planning and delivering outcomes.Strong technical problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.Strong ability to engage stakeholders & build relationships, both internal & externalStrong teamwork and knowledge sharing capabilities.Flexible individual who will thrive in a dynamic organizational environment and has enthusiasm for addressing unexpected new challenges at short notice.Natural problem solver who follows issues through to conclusion.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment.Customer focused and seeks out challenges.Abreast of latest infrastructure technology offerings in the marketEducation and experience * 5 years + proven industry experience in infrastructure supportIn depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune desktop management technologies.Solid knowledge of Wintel environments (AAD, Active Directory)Good understanding of virtualisation technologies.Conceptual knowledge of IT/OT manufacturing environments and implementing secure SCADA & corporate networks.
