Position Overview:

As a Full Stack Shopify Developer at Outcast, you will spearhead the end-to-end development and customisation of our Shopify-based e-commerce store. Your role is pivotal in crafting visually captivating and functionally robust online shopping experiences, ensuring seamless interactions for our valued customers.

Responsibilities

Shopify Theme Development:
• Craft and tailor Shopify themes to align seamlessly with our brand and meet design specifications.
• Implement responsive design principles, optimizing the user experience across a range of devices.

App Integration and Customization:
• Integrate and customise Shopify apps to elevate the functionality of our online store.
• Develop bespoke apps using Shopify APIs to address unique business requirements.

Front-end Development:
• Implement and customise the front-end of Shopify stores using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant front-end frameworks.
• Ensure interfaces are not only functional but also visually appealing and user-friendly.

Back-end Development:
• Customise Shopify Liquid templating language to govern the presentation layer and implement server-side logic.
• Manage order processing, inventory, and seamlessly integrate payment gateways.

E-commerce Functionality:
• Configure and optimise shopping cart functionality to enhance the overall shopping experience.
• Set up and oversee product catalogs, collections, and inventory management.

Performance Optimisation:
• Optimise Shopify store performance for fast page load times.
• Implement SEO best practices to boost online visibility.

Testing and Debugging:
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and address bugs and issues promptly.
• Ensure the security and reliability of our e-commerce platform.

Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to comprehend project requirements.
• Provide clear technical guidance and communicate progress effectively.

Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, specialising in Shopify Plus.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify Liquid templating language.
• Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).
• Strong understanding of Shopify's API and app development.
• Back-end development skills with languages like Node.js or Ruby.
• Familiarity with database management and data modeling for e-commerce.
• Knowledgeable about SEO best practices for e-commerce websites.
• Experience with version control systems, especially Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
