You will be working as Sales Specialist – Large Motors and Generators, will be the part of Motion Business Area for Large Motors & Generators division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to abide with ABB safety and integrity guidelines with zero tolerance, proper market sizing and channels to market definition in UAE for large motors and generations in alignment with division and LSU direction and Go-To-Market strategy
Your responsibilities
• Coordinating market analyses in full coordination with segment sales and defining appropriate forecasts and plans, evaluating and sharing customer research, market conditions and competitor data, providing product and technical domain expertise to segment leaders and customers to ensure best in class sales support and time to quote
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers and consultants to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction, understanding customer needs in the market by visiting customers, ensuring the customer satisfaction surveys are executed, analyzing results and assisting with corrective actions
• Developing and implementing product support and product training to ensure high customer satisfaction in cooperation with global PG/division team, driving continuous improvement on NPS, ensuring the resolution of customer issues, identifying and developing new OEM/EPC and capturing business through active prescription and targeting major players in Gulf Area market
• Working closely with project management, order handling team and the logistics team for ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction on delivery, implementing and ensuring compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and sharing functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization
• Annual budgeting for medium voltage motors and working in tandem with sales and segment leaders for providing accurate monthly, quarterly and yearly forecast / estimating for medium voltage motors and working closely with segment leaders on the same
• Supporting development and maintaining solid and healthy sales pipeline with high information quality and balanced nature to deliver budget commitment for medium voltage motors across key focus segments and through all possible channels with balanced G2M approach
• Continuous pipeline management for medium voltage motors in coordination with sales teams and segment leaders, providing constructive feedback on focus areas and pockets for improvement, position LCC offerings for medium voltage motors according to division strategy and in line with market peculiarities and customer’s business needs
• Supporting packaging strategy and collaboration with MOSD division according to framework agreed, supporting service sales teams with the right offerings to generate replacement service business targeting ABB and 3rd party Medium Voltage Motors IB, winning strategy formulation and pricing excellence
• Having exemplary customer and consultant’s relationship management, analyzing customer requirements and determining technical feasibility, actively monitoring competition so as to identify and list ABB features that help differentiate, adding value and enhancing sales
• Your background
• Bachelor’s degree – Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in sales and product management with at least 2 years’ experience in medium voltage motors
• Large motors and generator is a must
• Fluency in English language is mandatory, Arabic language would be a plus
