Our client in Chicago, IL is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst who will be responsible for day-to-day activities related to specifying, configuring, testing and deploying OMP finite scheduling to factories of the company. This program that will replace SAP APO technologies with OM Partners OMP+ solution. This person will be a capable experienced IT project team member used to supporting finite scheduling. Day-to-day activities include working with IT partners to determine the correct model to use for the factory, configuring the OMP/SAP tools, testing the solution from unit testing, through system integration testing to acceptance testing and training manufacturing users in both the company process and the OMP system to be used. As the configurator of the process, the role also includes ensuring all documentation, process flows, training guides, and materials are maintained and current. This person will interface with IT, the Data Management Organization and Operations in order to deliver their goals.

Main Responsibilities

Coordinate with the COE/SME/Site Champions the understanding of the facilities to be modeled.

Support OMP/SAP config of the facilities formalizing the modelling into the software tool.

Record in standard documentation the OMP/SAP configuration performed.

Prepare functional specifications to define OMP or SAP developments to meet functional requirements.

Execute tests of new configuration/developments to validate readiness and record results of tests into company tools to support audit requirements.

Trouble shoot and identify root cause of system issues and software defects and remediate issues.

Support change management activities by assisting with development of training materials and documentation.

Perform go-live cutover tasks such as loading the new system with data extracted from the legacy system.

Qualifications

Understanding of the OMP & SAP modules used in the finite scheduling process, if not willing to train.

Ability to transform requirements into appropriate functional specifications to solve gaps.

Ability to train and explain complex processes.

Ability to work well under pressure and comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments.

Ability to work collaboratively with a team of 4 up to 13.

Ability to trouble shoot and identify root cause of system issues and software defects and remediate issues.

Work Experience

Professional industry experience gained industries, such as Consumer Packaged Goods (Client), advance electronics, automotive.

3+ years of program or service delivery experience in IT roles.

2+ years of experience in supply chain functional areas.

Strong practical problem solving.

Preferred Experience In Work Streams Of Large, Complex Programs.

Experience in change management - preferably in a mixed outsourced and insourced environment.

Experience in virtual teams, including offshore locations.

Experience in working with 3rd party service providers of multiple types (functional, strategic, operations, BPO)

Customer focused individual

Experience in dealing with multicultural and multifunctional teams
