Job Summary:

The System Administrator will support the Ministry of Defense (MOD) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) System Engineering Support Services (ESS) Program. System Administration is performed both locally (site-level) by Area Operation Center (AOC) administrators and centrally (system-wide) by administrators at the System Support Unit (SSU) using a variety of BM Software and COTS processes and products. Administrators at the SSU ensure a consistent configuration across the entire system.

This Unaccompanied role will be on site in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) where the employee will be under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:
• Manage and administer policies concerning system authorization, system security, system readiness, problem resolution activities, Battlespace Management (BM) software and communication configuration deployment, resolution of Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) software issues, and software update verification.
• Interface with the Program office and engineering teams in Fullerton, CA with regards to progress, issues, and potential resolution.
• Aid, support, and work with the KSA Government Authority and Raytheon Engineering concerning system authorization, system readiness, problem resolution activities, resolution of COTS software issues, and software update verification and distribution.

Basic Qualifications:
• Typically requires bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of engineering experience; or 8 years’ relevant experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience as a system administrator on Windows, deploying and supporting mission critical systems.
• Experience in administering Group Policies, Directory Services, and Distributed File Systems.
• Experience in administration of Microsoft Office products including Exchange and Lync Server.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 6 and above)
• Experience with security administration tools including McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator, McAfee VirusScan, and RSA.
• Experience in the configuration and integration of COTS products into existing systems.
• Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell, C, Python, and Perl.
• Experience with virtualization tools such as VMWare or VirtualBox and deploying virtual machines.
• Experience in computer networking (including protocols, multicasting, SNMP) and Cisco routers.
• Experience with Symantec (Veritas) NetBackup.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft certification, i.e., Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE).
• Cybersecurity certification, i.e., CISSP, CISA, Security+.
• Experience with SAP Business products.
• Experience in Red Hat JBoss Server administration.
• Experience in Oracle database administration.
• Experience working in a team-focused development environment, such as Agile/SCRUM.
• Ability to communicate in Arabic.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 176,000 USD; however, RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
