Job Summary

As a Staff Design & Proposal Engineer specializing in Chemical Injection Skids and Wellhead Control Systems, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in the design, development, and proposal of these systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, meeting customer requirements, industry standards, and company objectives. Your primary focus will be on creating innovative design solutions, preparing technical proposals, and contributing to the growth and success of the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Review customer inquiries and specifications to determine the most appropriate solutions based on the company's product offerings.
• Collaborating with the sales team to ensure that the proposed solutions meet customer needs and can be produced within the company's manufacturing capabilities.
• Developing cost estimates and pricing proposals that are competitive and meet the company's financial objectives.
• Have a thorough understanding of P&ID and Process Diagrams.
• Preparing technical proposals for chemical injection skids that describe the proposed solutions and how they meet the customer's requirements.
• Participating in customer meetings and presentations to discuss proposed solutions and answer technical questions.
• Supporting the sales team throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to contract negotiation.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, customer needs, and competitive offerings.
• The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for the company's process skids and equipment, primarily for the oil and gas industry.
• The successful candidate will work closely with the sales team, product managers, and customers to identify customer needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
• Familiar with hydraulic component selection, Instrument tubes & fittings.
• Familiar with various Types of Wellhead control systems and Hydraulic Power units.
• Review and evaluate received RFQ/Tender Documents
• Prepare competitive & effective technical and commercial quotations in line with the client’s requirements for Hydraulic and electro – hydraulic wellhead panels
• Coordinate with the CLIENT and/or sales department for technical queries and clarifications.
• Attend technical and commercial meetings with clients
• Coordinate with the Procurement Department to obtain the required quotations promptly.
• Ensure that the received quotations are in line technically and commercially as per the requirements.

Qualification/ Minimum Requirement:
• Graduate in Process, chemical or mechanical engineering.
• 5 years’ experience minimum.
• Experience in hydraulic component selection, Instrument tubes & fittings.
• Experienced with various types of chemical injection skids and Wellhead control systems.
• Good oral and written English.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD/ 3D Modelling is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Oil and gas industry standards.
• Good understanding of P and ID.
