Description

Converge Resources is actively seeking to fill an Industrial Electrical Engineer position (full-time) with a service company in the Houston area or in Louisiana.

Responsibilities of the Industrial Electrical Engineer:
• Responsible for developing, evaluating, designing, and commissioning of electrical control equipment.
• Traveling to client sites to identify project goals and develop estimates, equipment and installation specifications, and electrical drawings
• Must be comfortable in the field working with and supervising construction contractors, installation, and cut-over strategies.

Qualifications of the Industrial Electrical Engineer:
• A Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable technical degree, plus at least 5 years additional relevant experience
• Working knowledge of NFPA 70 National Electric Code (NEC)
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, & MS Office software
• The willingness and ability to travel up to 35% of the time
